Abstract (EN)
This thesis focuses on Abu Ali el-Farisi's (288/377-901/987) el-Igfal by analysing the linguistic criticisms addressed to the exegesis named Me'ani'l Kur'an we Irabüh by his master Abu Ishak ez-Zeccac (d. 311/923). Alongside Al Farisi's critiques, the thesis examines his controversial ideas by providing traditional (Qur'an, poetry and Arabic philology) and rational (induction, syllogism, and justification) proofs within the methodology of comparative linguistics, keeping in mind the primary sources of Arabic philology.
