Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, Abû Nuaym's life, the political, social and sectarian situation in his period were examined. It was also determined why, when, and whom he wrote the book called "Kitâb al-Imamah". The historical, political, cultural, economic, and sectarian situation of Isfahan, where Abu Nuaym was born, grew up and completed his life, was examined in a political region where the Islamic geography is surrounded by Shiite states such as the Qarmatians, Fâtımids, Buyids, and Hamdanids. In order to get to know him better and to understand his thought, time-space, idea-event-human relationship was taken into consideration. Abu Nuaym, who was born in Isfahan and spent his ninety-four years of life in this city, was introduced to understand the family environment he was born and grew up in, his family members as well as what kind of education he received and some of his teachers. In addition, his sect of creed, whether he is a sufi and the Shiite claim about him, scholars from different sects of his time and his connections with Abu Nuaym and our subject, Kitâb al-Imamah, were examined. After a period when the Fâtımîd State and Buyids State were strong and the revival of the Shiites in political, social and cultural life, insulting the Companions, Ghadiri Hum celebrations, lamentation and mourning ceremonies became official and became a routine state policy, the Ghaznavids, who supported the Ahl as-Sunna creed and the caliph, advanced and became a part of the period. Abu Nuaym, as one of the living witnesses of his becoming a superpower, was also more comfortable in expressing himself and his views. In the most important part of the thesis, we discussed Kitâb al-Imamah, which Abu Nuaym compiled by including some theological views in the hadiths, unlike the works composed of narrations that he compiled as a hadith scholar. In this context, the purpose of the work, its addressees, when it was written, the message, and views that Ebû Nuaym wanted to express were determined and evaluated in terms of the historical literature of sects. The historical, political, cultural, economic and sectarian situation of Isfahan, which was under the rule of Shiite rulers at the time Abu Nuaym was born and grew up and completed his life, was examined in a political region where the Islamic geography is surrounded by Shiite states such as the Qarmatians, Fâtımîds, Buyids, and Hamdânids. In order to get to know him better and to understand his thought, time-space, idea-event-human relationship was taken into consideration. Abu Nuaym, who was born in Isfahan and spent his ninety-four years of life in this city, was introduced to understand the family environment he was born and grew up in, his family members, what kind of education he received and some of his teachers. Scholars from the sects and their works have been examined in terms of their connections with Abu Nuaym and our subject, Kitâb al-Imamah. After a period when the Fâtımîd State and Buyid State were strong and the revival of the Shiites in political, social and cultural life, insulting the Companions, Ghadiri Hum celebrations, lamentation and mourning ceremonies became official and became a routine state policy, the Ghaznavids, who supported the Ahl as-Sunna creed and the caliph, advanced and became a part of the period. Abu Nuaym, as one of the living witnesses of his becoming a superpower, was also more comfortable in expressing himself and his views. As a hadith scholar, Kitâb al-İmamah, a refutation work that Abu Nuaym wrote by including a theological method in the hadith, like a different style from the works composed of narrations he compiled as a hadith scholar, was presented to introduce the purpose of the work, its interlocutors, when it was written, and Ebû Nuaym's work the message and views he wanted to give were determined and evaluated in terms of the historical literature of sects.
