Abstract (EN)
Charity is a widespread social value. Recently, helping those in need, engaging in philanthropic behavior, and research on understanding donor behavior have attracted the attention of academics. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of motivation and attitude on people's intentions to donate. The study carried on the sample, which involved 412 individuals in Adana. Excel, SPSS, and AMOS 23 (beta) programs were used to analyze the data. The data collected were analyzed by Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. According to the results of the analysis, volunteerism, self-oriented and attitude have a positive and significant effect on donation intention. The effect of altruism motivation on donation intention is insignificant. Analysis of individuals' donation preferences shows that the respondents prefer cash and direct donation.
