Abstract (EN)

The increase in traffic has a negative impact on the environment. The use of tires increases day after day, and due to this problem, it became indispensable to have an alternative utilization of waste tires instead of dumping them. The use of used tires as a modification of bitumen contributes to an improvement in the cleanliness and safety of the surrounding environment. Sustainable roads are a goal that all nations of the world, both developed and developing, have set for themselves. There are 8 billion people living on our planet, and the number of motor cars that are owned in relation to every thousand people varies significantly from nation to country. Waste tire production rises in direct proportion to the number of automobiles on the road. It is now clear that the concept of utilizing scrap tires as a bitumen-modified agent is essential. This concept was introduced for the first time in the United States in 1960, and ever since then, it has been disseminated worldwide. It caught the attention of scientists, engineers, academic institutions, businesses, and government agencies concerned about the issue.
