Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to develop Phosphorus and Copper based catalysts for Hydrocarbon Selective Catalytic Reduction System and to determine the effect of these catalysts on NOx conversions. Catalysts containing P(4%) /ZrO2, P(3%)-Cu(1%)/ZrO2, P(2%)-Cu(2%)/ZrO2, P(1%)-Cu(3%)/ZrO2, Cu(4%)/ZrO2 were synthesised for HC-SCR system. Ethanol was used as reducing agent. SEM, XRD and BET analyses were performed to determine the structural and chemical properties of the catalysts. The catalysts were tested in the SCR system at a temperature range of 170°C-240°C and a constant field velocity of 40000 h-1. The tests were carried out using a 2-cylinder V-type diesel engine at constant engine speed (3000 rpm) and under 3 different loads (0 kW, 2 kW and 4 kW). As a result, maximum NOx conversion rates were measured for 3P1CZ at 4 kW load, 240 ℃ temperature, 40000 h-1 gas hourly space velocity.
