Abstract (EN)
This research has two objectives. The first objective is to examine the tourist guide profession in detail and to examine tourist guiding and its education all around the world, also providing a chance to discuss tourist guiding within Turkey. The second objective is to determine professional problems and find solutions for the tourist guides who are working in the Agean region of Turkey. In 2006 to determine professional problems of professional tourist guides in Agean region 179 questionnaries distrubuted and analysed statistically. Later solutions found and recommended for professional problems of professional tourist guides in Agean region.
