Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to examine the relationship between the readiness and satisfaction levels of education faculty students regarding the e-learning process after the earthquake. Single and relational survey models, which are among the quantitative research methods, were used in the research. The population of the research consisted of 1443 students enrolled in various departments of the Faculty of Education at Malatya İnönü University, who received distance education in the 2022-2023 spring semester and registered for their current class in the 2023-2024 fall semester. The sample of the research consisted of 287 students selected by simple random sampling method from among the students making up the population. "University Students' Readiness for E-learning Scale" and "Satisfaction Scale for e-Learning Process" were used to collect data in the study. A statistical package program was used in the analysis process of the data collected in the study. While descriptive statistics include measurements such as mean and standard deviation, independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Games-Howell test were used to examine differences in parametric data, and KWH, MWU test were used to examine the relationship between readiness and student satisfaction in non-parametric data. Correlation analysis was used for. As a result of the analysis, the general readiness level of education faculty students regarding the e-learning process was determined as 4.73 and the general satisfaction level was determined as 3.05. It has been determined that there is a significant difference between the groups in the readiness and satisfaction levels of education faculty students towards the e-learning process after the earthquake in terms of the departments they study in and the number of technological resources they have. However, no significant difference was found according to the class variable they were in. While there was no significant difference in readiness according to the gender variable, a significant difference was found in the satisfaction level. No relationship was found between the readiness and satisfaction levels in terms of the overall readiness scale and the overall satisfaction scale.
