Evaluation of the total quality management in education organization: A sample of study in Sultanbeyli county

In recent years, ?The Total Quality Management? has become a real phenomenon in the business world. Nowadays, not only organisations but also public and private institutions are implementing quality programs. Total quality management is a management form referred to at all relations and processes of all levels of organisation.Educational managers and employees who are anticipated and implementing total quality understanding, no doubt, will affect the organisational effectiveness positively. In this study, Quality, The Total Quality Management ,The Total Quality Management in education concepts are explained and Difficulties during implementing The Total Quality Management in education organization are reviewed. The aim of this study is to determine to aspect of teachers to Total Quality Management. Questionnaire were applied for 600 randomly selected teachers working in Sultanbeyli county at the province of İstanbul. ANOVA and t test were used in statistical analysis.
