Abstract (EN)
It is aimed with this thesis to investigate the attitude of the students to the usage of interactive white board (smart board) in education. For this purpose the qualitative and quantitative research methods were used to evaluate a combination of mixed models. Attitude scale for interactive white board is used in order to obtain quantative data. Attitude scale for interactive white board is performed on the 335 students studying in 2014-2015 education year. Data are analyzed with SPSS 22.0 programme. Data was analysed via frequency, independent samples t-test, one-way anova statistical techniques. Semi-structured interview is performed in order to obtain qualiative data. Content analysis technique was used to evaluate the qualiative data. Attitudes of the students for the usage of interactive white board is in a positive side. Students state their indecisive opinions that interactive white board increases the motivation, the involvement of the students to the lessons and the increase of students' attention towards the lessons. Students consider that interactive white board make their lessons more enjoyable. Students consider that it is necesseray to use interactive white board in education.
