The universe of the study consists of Turkish children living in Germany. The sampling method has been chosen since it is not possible to collect data from all Turkish children in Germany. The research has been carried out on 302 randomly chosen Turk students, between the age of 11-15, who have been studying Turkish under the supervision of Frankfurt Office of Educational Attaché in the Hessen State of Germany in 2019-2020 educational year. To collect the data, "Attitude Scale for Turkish Children Living Abroad Towards Mother Tongue" and "Personal Data Form" have been used. In addition, texts written in Turkish by these students have been used to collect data of their written expression skills. It has been seen that they were unsuccessful in their written expressions even though the attitudes towards Turkish of these Turkish children living in Germany were positive.
