The thesis research is based on the theory and methodology described in the basic studies of domestic and foreign scientists on foreign trade and economic growth. Scientific information methods were used in the research process. Graphical and comparative analysis, including systemic, historical, deductive, induction, analysis and synthesis, statistical, correlation and regression analysis were carried out. The research database consists of: Data contained in statistical reporting materials by the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, state statistical committees of important regions, State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan; UN publications such as Statistical Yearbook, Monthly Statistical Bulletin; World Bank publications such as World Socio-Economic Indicators and World Bank Atlas.
