Abstract (EN)

In the Paleolithic era that mankind lived in the caves , while people earn their living by going hunting and gathering,they used a variety of Stones and have started to give shape to ıt in order to make it functional.From the beginning of the Neolithic that People passed into the settled life, they developed stone weapons, they haft the bone handles to the stone ax , make obsidian arrowheads,begi n to produce bone-handled obsidian and flint blades .Calkolitik age with the evolving social dynamics forcing the natural environment facilities, makes the Arrowheads even more functional.The results of the archaeological works in Elazığ uncovered arrowheads. İn this context the detailed examination of these Chalcolithic arrowheads (essentially forming the hunting tradition ) from the East Anatolia and its neighbourhood, revealed how the transformation and development process come true in the archaeological periods , when compared typhılogically to the preceding and subsequent periods
