Abstract (EN)
To detect caffeic acid, a glassy carbon electrode was coated with carbon nanotube, carbon nanofiber, and nanoparticles of antimony oxide and an electroanalytical method was developed. The proposed voltammetric platform showed an improved catalytic properties of caffeic acid and also increased the current response. The electrochemical sensor was used to detect caffeic acid in 0.1 M pH 7 PBS medium. Peak current values increase linearly with caffeic acid concentration in the range of 2.0×10- 9 to 5.7×10-7 M. The detection limit was calculated as 3.4×10-10 M. The developed analysis method has been successfully applied for detection of caffeic acid in grape juice.
