Investigation and evaluation of occupati̇onal safety regulations and applications in electricity distribution sector in Turkey

In this thesis, occupational health and safety regulations and on-site applications in electric distribution sector in Turkey were investigated. The application effectiveness of the regulations, the reasons for applicational problems and risks, accidents and losses due to violation of occupational safety rules in Turkey were analized. At this context, the domestic electric distribution companies were investigated and information and statistical data were collected from them. Risk analysis and evaluations have been carried out on the effectiveness of the settlement areas of the electric distribution companies and the quality of employees in companies in terms risks. The reasons for occupational accidents, the analyzes and the precautions to be be taken to solve the problems were mentioned.
