Abstract (EN)

In this study, the problem of determining the charging station locations of electric vehicles is emphasized. The primary purpose of the station location to be determined is to obtain the most suitable solution with the highest flow volume and, at the same time, the lowest charging station setup costs. The flow refueling location model is chosen to suit this purpose. In this model, considering the driving range of the vehicles, it will be ensured that the flow volume, which also makes refueling possible, is the highest. Multiple objectives are considered in the model. While the first objective function is to maximize the traffic flow, the second minimizes the setup cost of the station to be opened. Pareto optimality is chosen to decide an optimal number of stations. Ultimately, the developed model is a multi-purpose mixed-integer linear programming model. Lingo 19.0 software is used to solve the model. The developed model is applied to Sakarya province, and possible vehicle charging station locations are determined.
