Abstract (EN)

The electrospinning process which is one of the methods of manufacturing continuous nanofiber is examined in regards to the preparation of precursor polyacrylonitrile (PAN) nanofibers with the purpose of preparing carbon nanofibers. The effect of process parameters such as applied voltage and concentration of solution on the morphology of nanofibers was investigated. Carbon nanofibers have been successfully obtained after the heat treatment of polyacrylonitrile nanofibers. The system which is necessary for production of nanotubes via electrospinning method is established at the department laboratory and titanium dioxide nanotubes were produced by using this system.Current phases and bond structures before and after the heat treatment have been determined by using FTIR and XRD. Structures and diameters of the produced nanofibers and nanotubes were characterized by using SEM.
