Abstract (EN)

Electro-optical devices are of vital importance for the user in the defense industry. For this reason, the failure of the system or its inability to use it can cause critical problems. Determining the system requirements in accordance with the purpose, correct and complete increases the performance obtained in the design and provides the least downtime.Studies have shown that there is no roadmap program for system-level designs integrated into the platform. It has been determined that many errors have been encountered in system designs, tests, and final integration or after integration due to missing or unforeseen requirements. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to create a design guide program that will guide the user in the creation of system functional parameters, environmental conditions and mechanical requirements for a design solution with a low error rate, considering the system engineering perspective and environmental conditions for the military system solutions to be developed for the defense industry. In the study, the sub-parameters that required for the selection of thermal cameras, day cameras and laser distance meters of electro-optic devices used in military sea-land systems were determined. Mechanical selection parameters have been established by considering the selection of materials according to their physical and mechanical properties, mechanical strength, coating and dye requirements, dust-liquid impermeability measures, corrosion precautions, and environmental conditions for removable-non-removable fasteners, which should be used in systems that will operate on sea or land platforms. Military environmental conditions test requirements and test parameters required for the platform are explained for the ambient conditions that the devices will encounter during their lifetime. All information was transferred to the design program written on excel, and design guidance was made to the program user. Thus, it was ensured that the basic and detailed requirements of the design were created without skipping. Requirement documents prepared by system engineers are provided as an output of the program.
