Abstract (EN)

In this study, microelectrolysis, electrooxidation and electroFenton methods were used for the treatment of model wastewater prepared with the antibiotic active ingredient Ciprofloxacin. In order to obtain optimum conditions for antibiotic removal in microelectrolysis experiments, H2O2 concentration, initial solution, pH, air flow rate, column filling ratio and initial solution concentration parameters were investigated. The highest antibiotic removal efficiency for micro electrolysis was obtained as 67.10% at 180 minutes. This value was obtained at an initial ciprofloxacin concentration of 100 mg/L, pH:3, Fe/C ratio of 1/1 and air flow rate of 0.0143 L/min. In the electro-Fenton experiments, the initial solution pH, current density, FeSO4 concentration, Na2SO4 concentration and initial antibiotic concentration parameters were examined and the highest removal efficiency of 53.96% was obtained at the 90th minute. The properties obtained these conditions pH: 3. 20 V current density, 25 mg/L ciprofloxacin concentration and 7.04 mM Na2SO4 concentration. In this study, 45 Wh/L energy consumption was realized. In electrooxidation experiments, initial pH, current density, Na2SO4 concentration and initial antibiotic concentration of ciprofloxacin were investigated. Antibiotic removal efficiency at the 60th minute was found to be 100%. In this yield obtained, pH: 2.5, 20 V current density, 7.04 mM Na2SO4 and 25 mg/L antibiotic concentration were obtained. In the study carried out under these conditions, 61 Wh/L energy consumption was realized. In the experiments carried out under optimum conditions, TOC removal efficiencies were measured as 84.58% for microelectrolysis, 9.03% for electroFenton and 74.19% for electrooxidation.
