Abstract (EN)
Health services are labor-intensive services as well as services that use technology intensively. Especially with the revolution created by Industry 4.0, it has been tried to integrate information technologies and industry. This integration has been in the field of health services as well as in all industrial areas. With the hardware and software used in digital hospitals, it is aimed to increase the time allocated to the patients, decrease the costs, eliminate the time and space constraints in the treatment of the patient, evaluate the treatment processes as a whole, increase the reliability of health records, and reduce administrative and medical errors. In this study, it was tried to determine the effect of the level of acceptance of the technologies that these hospitals should carry on the perception of medical error of nurses working in Electronic Medical Record Acceptance Model (EMRAM) Level 7 digital hospitals. First of all, a medical error perception scale was developed in order to determine the nurses' perception of medical error. The scale used by Venkatesh and Davis (2000) was used to determine the technology acceptance level of the nurses participating in the study. Participation in the research was based on volunteerism and the data collected from 463 nurses were used within the scope of the research. Correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between the technology acceptance level of nurses and their perception of medical error, and regression analysis was used to determine the effect of technology acceptance level on perception of medical error. In addition, nonlinear canonical correlation analysis was performed to determine the nonlinear multiple relationships of the variables with each other. As a result of the analyzes, it was determined that there is a positive and moderate relationship between the level of acceptance of the technologies used in these hospitals and the perceptions of medical errors of the nurses working in EMRAM Level 7 digital hospitals. In addition, it has been determined that the level of acceptance of these technologies by nurses affects the perception of medical error with a rate of 47%. As a result of non-linear canonical correlation analysis, it was determined that nurses' perceptions were different compared to hospitals.
