Abstract (EN)
Diamond impregnated cutting tools are used natural stone cutting process and matrixdesign is very important for this tool performance. Cobalt is very important material for highquality of these tools and a binder material for matrix. In this study were produced no cobaltnew tools using the Fe-Cu-Ni-Mo elements and them microstructure and mechanical propertieswere investigated. In this study were produced in different compositions nine types of diamond impregnatedcutting tools. Each one of the tools was sintered 750-800-850 oC at three different temperaturesunder 350 MPa pressure four minutes with time. For the Produced samples were mademeasurement of density, toughness, and three point bending tests. The phases formed in themicrostructures were analyzed using the scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and energy dispersive X-ray spectrum (EDS) techniques. As a result of the work to the high hardness of Mo and Ni added samples have beenobserved. The increasing of sintering temperature, the hardness of the cutting tools was found todecrease. Density measurement, the smallest intensity has occurred in the low sinteringtemperature and sintering temperature is the highest in the greatest density was found to occur. With very little difference, to the lowest density was found to have samples with molybdenum.Found that from three-point bending experiments, the samples of Fe-Cu alloy has the highestbending strength. In the same experiments in the low bending resistance was found to havesamples with molybdenum. Sintering temperature on bending strength in bending experiments alarge effect was observed to be. From bending tests of diamond-impregnated cutting tools,nickel-plate matrix, the best level is found to be able keep the diamond. The results of bendingexperiments, the nickel content in the matrix, the best level is found to be able keep thediamonds.
