Abstract (EN)
In development studies of toxicological and medicine, minimum effective dose (MED) which deal with any ilness, is wanted to be found. The first dose exceeds the placebo control dose (or zero control dose) which can be taken a boundary value, is called MED. The MED is detected by multiple comparsions after the null hypothessis which is ?there is no differance between the means.?, is rejected in ANOVA. In this thesis pairwise and Helmert comparsions which is used for detecting MED are studied. For this comparsions parametric and non-parametric step-down closed analysis methods are compared according to their empirical significance levels.Key Words: Minimum effective dose, step-down closed analyze method, familywise error rate, multiple comparisons
