Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT The detection of the incidence of Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae from endoservical swab and first void urine specimen by PCR in women with endoservitis and healthy one. In this study 267 women with genitourinary enfections we evaluated endocervical smears and urine samples to determine the specifity, sensitivity and acceptibility of these samples at the diagnosis of C.trochomatis and N.Gonorrhoea using PCR tecnique. Women?s mean age was 30-39 years with a rate of 56.5 %. When we compare In-house PCR in urine samples with reference material for the diagnosis of endocervical swab specimens by PCR , the sensitivity, specificity, and acceptability were, 81.25% , 81.8% and 86.77% respectively in AKDHP. The ratio for N.Gonorrhoea was 100 % and whom applied to DZHP, the sensitivity, specifity and acceptibility of the samples: 64.3% ,92.3% ve 86.77% respectively. When we assessed the urine samples the detected rate for N.Gonorrhoea was 100% either. According to these results, in sexually transmitted diseases two most important pathogens, C.trachomatis and N.gonorrhoea which are difficult to diagnosis with conventional culture methods, because of more comfortable for the patients PCR-based methods are seen to be prefered to urine samples of cervical swab which have smilar sensitivity, although these methods are fast, easy, inexpensive, and highly sensitive. Key Words: C.trochomatis , N.Gonorrhoea, first urine, endocervical smears and PCR.
