Abstract (EN)

Industrial waste consists of by-products, unused materials, production residues and various chemical substances generated during industrial and manufacturing processes. These wastes can emerge in a wide variety of forms depending on the type of production activity and often pose significant challenges in terms of environmental impact, health, and safety that must be properly managed. Recycling and reusing industrial waste can reduce raw material costs and create economic value. For instance, using recycled or reused resins in concrete production can enable the construction of economical, safe, and environmentally friendly structures. In modern concrete technology, it is possible to produce concrete without compromising compressive strength and durability by incorporating industrial or non-industrial waste or surplus materials along with mineral and chemical additives. This study will evaluate the usability of epoxy resin waste –commonly used in the wind energy industry - in concrete. If positive results are obtained, it would represent a promising approach to reducing the environmental burden of waste and improving concrete performance. Such applications are an essential part of sustainable construction and green building practices contributing to the development of more environmentally friendly and cost-effective structures in the future.
