Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to develop the scale of value co-creation in the relations between the manufacturer and the supplier in industrial markets and to reveal the relations between the concepts of "Commitment", "Trust" and "Sustainable Competitive Advantage" of the developed scale from a correct and reliable point of view. The study generally consists of 3 parts. In the first part of the study, the conceptual framework about the variables of value co-creation, commitment, trust and sustainable competitive advantage in the research model is presented. In the second part of the study, the scale of value co-creation in producer-supplier relations was developed with the data obtained from 406 enterprises in industrial markets. Within the scope of the study, an eight-stage scale development process was used in the preparation of the value co-creation scale. At the end of the scale development study, it was determined that value co-creation in the manufacturer-supplier relations in the Turkish machinery manufacturing sector consists of 3 dimensions. These dimensions are: process improvement, information sharing and interaction. In the third part of the study, a survey was conducted on 326 enterprises in medium or large scale in the Turkish machinery manufacturing sector to test the model of the study. Data obtained by face-to-face survey method were analyzed with IBM SPSS Statics 22 and IBM SPSS AMOS 20 package programs. In line with the analysis, the interaction between value co-creation, commitment, trust and sustainable competitive advantage in the relations of machine manufacturers with their suppliers has been revealed. As a result of the study, it was determined that value co-creation in the relations of machine manufacturers with their suppliers directly and positively affects commitment, trust and sustainable competitive advantage. When the interaction of the sub-factors of value co-creation with other variables in the model is examined, it has been determined that process improvement has a positive and strong effect on commitment, trust and sustainable competitive advantage, while information sharing and interaction do not have a significant relationship with other variables in the model.
