Abstract (EN)

The industry is a constantly evolving and growing sector. The ability of industrial machines to produce quality products by adapting to all these developments, reliable, fast, high precision and maximum efficiency work is the basis of the industry sector. Automation comes into play in systems where precision, speed and efficiency come to the fore. In large-scale field systems, the rapid transfer of information depends on the mechanical components of the machine, but also on the speed of the communication protocol used. As the size of the data transferred increases, the speed begins to fall, moving at the opposite rate, and machine efficiency is negatively affected. In order to eliminate this disadvantage, fast and reliable communication protocols developed for complex machines have taken their place today. In this thesis, a research was conducted on Profibus, Modbus and Canbus, which are actively used in the industrial sector from industrial communication protocols. These three protocols were examined in depth, compared over many criteria and compared in terms of their impact on efficiency in industrial machine automation, and the results were evaluated.
