Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to investigate the prevalence of Rumple disease and to investigate the citrus viroid agents in the trees where the disease is seen in the lemon growing areas of Erdemli district of Mersin province. In the lemon orchards in the region, surveys were carried out on Kütdiken, Mayer, İtalyan Memeli, Euroka, Aydın ve Enterdonat lemon varieties. The total infection rate of the Rumple disease in the lemon growing areas of Erdemli district was determined as 29%. In biological indexing studies, the main symptoms observed were epinasty and leaf necrosis on leaves as a result of mechanical inoculation on Etrog citron seedlings grown from seed. It was determined that 10 different lemon trees showing collapse symptoms were also infected with CEVd and CCaVd.
