Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is observing relation between Early Maladaptive Schemas and sexual quality of life and relationship satisfaction. This study conducted on 348 people (122 men - 226 women) which selected by random sampling method. The obtained data analyzed with SPSS 26.0 by using Independent Sample t-Test, Pearson Correlation Analysis, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) methods. According to the results of the research it was found that Emotional Deprivation, Negativity / Pessimism, Approval-Seeking / Recognition-Seeking, Enmeshment / Undeveloped Self subdimensions significantly predicted the Relationship Satisfaction, and all of the schema subdimensions explained 21% of the variance in Relationship Satisfaction. Also, it was found that the subdimensions of Emotional deprivation and Enmeshment / Undeveloped Self significantly predicted of Sexual Quality of Life and all of the schema subdimensions explained 26% of the variance of Sexual Quality of Life. There are some significant differences found when schema subdimensions compared with gender and marital status.
