Abstract (EN)
Urartian Kingdom reigned in between B.C. 9. and 6. centuries around VanLake. Biggest Rival of Urartian is Assur in North Mesopotamia. Urartians havebeen affected by Assur as political and cultural.Urartians advanced in metalworking, produced weapons and ornaments.Ornaments had been served as amulet for protect from badness and showsocial rank by men and woman. These ornaments also had been put into tombs.Bracelets and armlets are most commonly used in ornaments. Figures wornanimal head bracelets and armlets that represented in Late Assyrian reliefs.Also these ornaments are seeing in Urartian and Late Hittites Art. Animal headsat terminals of bracelets and armlets are usually lion, serpent - dragon, bull -calf. This type bracelets and armlets are seeing from Early Iron Age, mostlyused by Assyrians.Bracelets and armlets had been found few in numbers duringarchaeological excavations. Majority of these ornaments are in museums andprivate collections.Within study have been examined bracelets and armlets in ErzurumArchaeology Museum. Bracelets and armlets had been come by buy tomuseum.
