Abstract (EN)

The issue of forgiveness of the sins in Eş'âri kalam is reviewed and evaluated according to Eş'âri theologians' view. This research includes sin concept, sin and responsibility, factors leading a person to sin, status of sinner in the case of faith and denial and penitence and intercession related to forgiveness of sins, and it is presented according to views of Eş'âri theologians. According to this research sin is the act that Allah does not accept. Since human has potantial of acting sin he may act sin when he is exposed to a condition that tends himself to act sin. If this sin is not polytheism and denial, without removing human from the circle of faith, it makes him sinner and responsible. If the person who sinned wants to get rid of his sin, he should repent of Allah. Repentance is necessary for believer, and there are some requirements for acceptance of it. If these conditions are fulfilled and a sincere regret is shown, then it is expected that repentance will find the answer. Besides; Allah's mercy, worship and obedience can conduce the forgiveness of sins. As it is among all followers of sunnah, intercession is considered to be the right among Eş'âri theologians and it is believed that sins will be forgiven by means of intercession. The main idea of Eş'âri theologians' approach to subjects in kalam is Allah centered and His power is mentioned. This approach reflects on the issue of forgiveness of sins.
