Abstract (EN)

In this study; first of all, equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) unit was constructed and die system, lubricant and pres tests were carried out. After that, by using the most effective severe plastic deformation method of ECAP, nanosized grains in 7075 aluminum alloys were tried to be produced. ECAP processing was carried out using Route C, at constant temperature of 200oC , die channel of 90o and press punch speed of 2mms-1.ECAPed 7075 aluminum alloys were then characterized by TEM, SAD, hardness and macrostructural investigations. In this study, nanosized grains in 7075 aluminum alloys were produced by ECAP method, the optimum number of pass was microstructurally determined to be 14. Also, occurence of miseriented and wide angel grain boundries started after 10 passes. The highest hardness values reached in 6 times ECAP passed materials.
