Abstract (EN)
Turkey's existing building stock consists of old type buildings that do not provide the code requirements of the year of construction. It is important to determine the safety of existing structures in a healthy way in order to minimize the damages caused by earthquakes, In our country, studies on the accuracy of some approaches used in the performance assessment of existing structures are still ongoing. Within this context, this thesis was carried on to contribute to the literature. In this study, it is aimed to compare the results obtained by performing pushover analyzes for different concrete strength, elasticity modulus, effective stiffness and torsional irregularity coefficients of a reinforced concrete building constructed in 1991. DBYBHY2007 principles were used for pushover analyzes. The effect of the variables used in the study on the behavior of reinforced concrete buildings was demonstrated by comparing the performance levels for the change in the concrete strength, and the comparison of the pushover curves for the other parameters.
