Abstract (EN)

A 38 ° C hot water spring exist in the village called Kızılinler where is located 15 km. of southwest of Eskişehir. The water spring flows, Pliocene tuff and Quaternary alluvium's thrust fault zone. In the study, taking into consideration the hot water outlet to determine the geothermal potential of the region a number of geological, hydrogeochemical and geophysical studies have been conducted. As a result of this study, hot waters of the region, the northwest – southeast strike-slip faults developed under the influence of compressive forces created by it was understood that reaches the surface of the deformation zone. Hot waters in the region, Na-HCO3 type, unrelated to the current rainfall, high elevation is fed by the waters of meteoric origin. Ophiolites in the region, reservoir rocks, Pliocene tuffs are the cap rocks. Accordance with deformation zones 55-60 ºC hot water production from wells drilled possible.
