Investigation of the effects of jujube (Ziziphus Jujuba) fruit extract on some blood enzymes applied to ethanol gavage rats

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of jujube (Ziziphus Jujuba) water extract on some enzymes (glutathione reductase (GR), acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) in rat blood in rats treated with 99% ethanol gavage. For this purpose, a total of 32 Wistar albino male rats weighing 250-300 grams on average were as follows: Control (n = 8), alcohol (n = 8), 4 ml / kg Ziziphus Jujuba low dose (DD, n = 8) and 8 ml / kg Ziziphus Jujuba high dose (HD, n = 8) was formed into 4 groups. Ziziphus Jujuba extract was administered to rats by oral gavage for 10 days. On the 11th day, ethanol was administered by oral gavage to create gastric ulcer in Group 2, Group 3 and Group 4. The rats were sacrificed 90 minutes after alcohol administration. In the second part of the study, the activity values of GR, AChE and BChE enzymes were measured in blood samples taken from sacrificed rats.
