Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted to examine the status of ceramics as a means of interaction at higher school institutions offering ceramics education. In the study, factors enabling interaction and the use of ceramics as interaction have been examined.Sub-problems were determined as the opinions of students receiving ceramics education and educators in the field. The sample of the study is comprised of 2 higher schools with 3rd and 4th grade students, in total 70, selected randomly in Ankara and 33 lecturers at 3 higher school in Kütahya selected randomly. As the means of data collection Information Collection Form was used developed by the researchers. Data collected were analyzed through descriptive statistical techniques such as percentage, frequency, arithmetic average, standard deviation and t-test.The results of the study suggest that lecturers and students make use of ceramics as a means of communication.Keywords: Ceramics, interaction,
