Abstract (EN)

Optical solitons are one of the most fundamental topics of research in the field of nonlinear optics. The dynamics of optical solitons in birefringent fibers having anti-cubic nonlinearity is studied in this thesis. The extended Jacobi elliptic function expansion scheme and modified Jacobi elliptic function expansion approach reveal optical soliton solutions to the governing model. The solutions obtained by employing both integration algorithms are initially drafted in terms of Jacobi's elliptic functions. The limiting process, when the modulus of ellipticity approaches zero or unity, the soliton solutions emerge. A spectrum of soliton solutions are obtained from a wide range of integration norms. The existence criteria for such solitons are also enlisted.
