Examination of Science undergraduate and graduate students' ability to prepare question in terms of curriculum

Just about determine learning situations is done measurement and evulation. Measurement and evaluation applications are expected to reflect the target attainment. In this sense, in the research was aimed to examination candidates of science teachers and master degree students' preparation question sufficiencies. The research was carried out with survey method. In the study group of the research have taken place science teachers 4th class students and master degree students who study in science institute at field of science education of a university located in Western Black Sea Region. Data collection tool is an achievement test which requires writing question for total ten attainments from different class level and which is the same domain field. Achievement test requires to code the questions prepared at the same time according to TIMSS cognitive levels and to designate measuring technique to be used , for question prepared, too. Data analysis, have been performed according to TIMSS cognitive levels of the questions to be prepared, and the compatibility and accuracy situations of the measurement technique. It was determined that the participants were insufficient in classifying questions according to the cognitive level and preparing the questions for the attainments and attainment according to the cognitive dimension. Participants have also been determined to be recognition situation the measurement techniques that they partly sufficient benefit from. In consequence of research, it is concluded that the participants' ability to prepare questions has not improved. It is suggested that studies should be conducted within the scope of teacher training programs in order to investigate the reasons of this situation in more detail and to eliminate the deficiencies.
