Examination of technical staff's job satisfaction level (example of Elazığ Forest Regional Directorate)

In this study, the job satisfaction of the technical personnel in Elazig Regional Directorate of Forestry and its affiliated units (Elazig, Tunceli, Bingöl, Malatya, Muş, Bitlis, Van, Hakkari Forest Enterprise Directorate of Forestry and Elazığ Forest Nursery Directorate), their adequacy, their perception of their environment and their feelings of satisfaction in their job. The changes in job satisfaction levels and job satisfaction levels according to some sociodemographic characteristics such as gender, marital status, age, education level, occupational status, monthly income level were examined. For this purpose, a questionnaire consisting of two parts (sociodemographic part - six questions, job satisfaction part - twenty questions) was created. The questionnaire forms were applied to 70 technical personnel working in various positions in Elazig Regional Directorate of Forestry and affiliated units in 2019, in the full field, by e-mail and face-to-face interview method. In the evaluation of the data obtained, frequency distributions, standard deviation, arithmetic mean and percentile statistics, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test and factor analysis were used. As a result of the analyses, the expression "I am undecided" about the job satisfaction of the technical personnel within the body of Elazig Regional Directorate of Forestry (3) came to the fore.
