Abstract (EN)
In this study, the use of waters of Seyhan River and Dam Lake as heat source and sink in a heat pump for Adana was investigated expermentally. Temperature of the water in Seyhan River measured in different depths during one year. Using the experimental set-up built, both water and air experiments were performed for various heat source and sink temperature in winter and summer. A room located in the laboratories of Mechanical Enginnering Department of Çukurova Üniversity was heated in winter and cooled in summer. The experimental results obtained from the air and water source and sink experiments were compared.
