Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to investigate English language teachers' perceptions and pedagogical implementations of the 21st century learning and innovation skills. For this purpose, 105 English language teachers participated in the questionnaire and 10 English language teachers participated in interviews, they attended a seminar to complete a chart about the study and they were asked to prepare a lesson plan including 21st century skills with a reflection paper after their lessons. An exploratory case study was employed for this aim. In order to collect data, both qualitative and quantitative methods were used. In order to choose participants, convenience sampling was used. The findings of the study defined and discussed in accordance with the research questions at the results chapter in order to shed a light on further researches. It is presented that English language teachers who participated in the study are aware of the importance of 21st century learning and innovation skills and they have the knowledge of them. However, they need to be supported by their administrators and the government to improve and broaden their horizons about when and how to apply these skills.
