Abstract (EN)
Since the first period of it's construction Hagia Sophia, with it's religious, political and social identity, has taken place in the legends which are one of the important parts of the oral culture. With the conquest Byzantine patria articles were translated into Turkish and over time, these writing were improved by the fantasies of the vulgar, some legends were added, some were removed and eventually together with the city, legends were also nationalized. One of these legends texts and the first of the private pieces written about Hagia Sophia after the conquest is the Persian tractate named "Tarih-i Ayasofya" which belongs Şemseddin-i Karamanî. One of the translations of the writing in the 17th century and written by Eyyüb-zâde, the tractate named "Kostantiniyye Kal'ası" will be revealed as a result of this study. In historical sources, it is mentioned that Hagia Sophia was built three times. However, most of the legend writings mention about the construction of the III. Hagia Sophia which was built during the reign of Justinian and stands until today. In the "Kostantiniyye Kal'ası" -one of these legendary writings- the construction of III. Hagia Sophia is told. Containing historical facts, the content of the writing is narrated by mixing extraordinary cases sometimes. When begining to this study, firstly the changes and transformations that Hagia Sophia got in the historical duration were adverted and then the sources which contains the legendary writings of Hagia Sophia were mentioned briefly. Afterwards researches about Dervish Şemseddin-i Karamanî took place. In another chapter, the study named "Kostantiniyye Kal'ası" that is the main purpose of the study, has been scanned and examined, and the translation of the study took place.
