Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, vector control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has been realized under different pulse width modulation (PWM) techniques. This PWM techniques are sinusoidal PWM, hysteresis band current control PWM and space vector PWM. In these techniques PI controller has been selected for motor speed control. The PMSM and its drives with different PWM techniques has been modelled by using Matlab/Simulink. Analysis of PMSM drives has been performed on various speeds and load torques for three methods. Current harmonics, output currents, speed, speed error, position parametres change of motor has been investigated. Simulation results show that motor driven by hysteresis band current control PWM method arrive shorter time to reference speed.
