ADULTS Mustafa COŞKUN DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGY INSTITUTE OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES UNIVERSITY OF ÇUKUROVA Supervisor: Prof.Dr. İskender Emre Year: 2001, Pages 43 Jury : Prof.Dr. İskender Emre Prof.Dr. Nedim Uygun Assist.Prof.Dr. Pınar Özalp In this study, the effects of vitamin E on the sex ratio of mature Pimpla turionellae L. (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) were investigated using three feeding regimes, (ratios of 0,0010 %, 0,0015 %, 0,0020 %). The data showed that the food must contain 0,0015% vitamin E for maximum emergence of female individuals. Vitamin E in ratio of 0,0015% increased female emergence throughtout egg laying period, causing a maximum female emergence of 82.41% in 25th day.
