Abstract (EN)
This thesis aims to investigate National Electrical Manufactures Association (NEMA) performance measurements for Low Energy High Resolution (LEHR) and new developed Low Energy High Resolution Sensitivity (LEHRS) collimators and also simulate same measurements with Monte Carlo platform. Measurements done with the GE Discovery 670 SPECTCT installed in Yeditepe University Koşuyolu Hospital. Also, a Monte Carlo simulation software GATE used for simulations. Both LEHR and LEHRS collimators were represented with a gamma camera setup in GATE software for measurements. During the GATE simulations, Gamma Camera, crystals and collimators were investigated to simulate. After those setups at GATE pre-defined NEMA measurements were run to simulate, and results collected. As last step pre-defined NEMA measurements were run on gamma camera installed in Yeditepe University Hospital to compare the results.
