Abstract (EN)
Radioactive nuclei are unstable due the much energy they have. They gets rid of the in most of energy by posting radiation. Radiation, the an energy, portable with particlate or electromagnetic waves at emptiness and in substance. Radiations divided into two classes: direct ionizing radiations, in direct ionizing radiations. Alpha, beta, heavy ions as charged particles is located in the ionizing radiation class. Electromagnetic radiation, X-and gamma rays is located in the indirect ionizing radiation class. With the introduction of radiation in many areas of human life the living body was faced with radiation hazards. Therefore, the development of different shielding materials is important for radiation protection. In particular, nuclear power plants and hospitals, such as materials used in the construction of units, which is very important for this purpose. In this study, we aimed to develop concretes can provide the radiation impermeability. Radiation conservatism was investigated in horasan samples used in old buildings and in concretes doped with different materials characteristics. The utilized radiation sources comprised 137Cs and 60Co radioactive elements with photon energies of 662keV for 137Cs and two energy levels of 1173 keV and 1332 keV for 60Co. The measurements have been performed using a gamma spectrometer which contains NaI(Tl) detector. Beer-Lambert equation using the absorption coefficient μ(cm-1) are calculated. For the obtained results discussed radiation shielding effects.
