Abstract (EN)
In this study, denim fabrics with 3 different weft density; breaking strength, tear strength, air permeability, stiffness, seam strength and seam slippage tests were performed according to the standards and the results were evaluated. In addition, the amount of sewing thread consumption was measured by making straight stitches at different stitching steps in the weft, warp and diagonal directions, and then removing them after sewing.In the study, selected performance properties of the fabrics with classical pre-treatment were determined and the results were evaluated.
