Abstract (EN)
Computer supported collaborative learning (BD Ö) and computer based learning(BDÖ) make positive effects on students? learning and success. With BD Ö, students candiscuss these strategies with a group of fellow students who can advise, motivate, criticize, compete, and direct towards better understanding of the subject matter. However, withcomputer based learning, students can not find opportunity to share your experiment anddiscuss your knowledge because of studying computer alone. In this study, the effects of the ?computer supported collaborative learning (BD Ö)and computer based learning? on the students? attitude toward to chemistry and teaching andlearning methods, conceptional changes and students? success related to chemistry subjectsabout chemical bonding in the university first year general chemistry program, in Turkey, byusing the computer software program (Active Chemistry Education Package) designed for thecomputer based learning and computer supported collaborative learning environments andusing the worksheets specifically designed for computer supported collaborative learningenvironments.Another aim of this study is determined whether meaningful relation betweenstudents? attitudes toward to chemistry with students? success related to chemistry and prior-knowledge happen. As a result of this study it was found out that both of the BD Ö and computer basedlearning (BDÖ) has created positive effects on students? knowledge gain, success, conceptional changes and attitudes chemistry and learning and teaching methods. But whencompared to both learning method, significant differences were found out between BD Ö andBDÖ methods according to data in favor of BD Ö.Key Words: Constructivist Learning, Computer Assisted Learning, Computer SupportedCollaborative Learning, Chemical Bonding, Misconception
