Abstract (EN)
Today, materials are produced in order to reduce the disturbing effect of noise. The proposal, design and selection of materials with sound insulation properties have an important role in indoor acoustic control. Among the experimental criteria that can be realized for this, the measurement and analysis of parameters such as sound transmission loss and sound absorption coefficient are carried out in laboratories with devices such as impedance tubes, Alpha Cabin and reverberation chambers. In the study, first of all, materials with noise-canceling acoustic properties for different environments and the tests applied to these materials were investigated. Although there are tests applied to acoustic materials in the literature, it has been observed that the application is more limited. Testing materials with high test costs and hard characteristics can damage the impedance tube. The Alpha Cabin-like model system was designed on the basis of noise and sound insulation, since it can be seen that the need for performing multiple tests without damaging the test set-up can be significant, with minimum time and minimum cost. 500-8000 Hz. with many natural and synthetic materials. By conducting experiments in the frequency range, sound transmission loss values of over 30dB were obtained and it was determined that they were close when compared to the values measured by the company. After proving their accuracy with the standards, samples with recyclable natural content were prepared in order to develop new acoustic materials. These are samples that have high sound transmission loss, are grown in Turkey, have low carbon emissions, are sensitive to human health, do not harm indoor quality, and can be used in industry. It has been comparatively analyzed that the developed materials can be alternatives to the synthetic materials on the market. The highest sound transmission loss was found to be 63.27dB in the concave and egg-shaped sample, and 62.41dB in the concave walnut shell and egg form. Analysis of the samples was carried out in the acoustic module of the ANSYS program, and the results were given in comparative graphics. In the designed model system, a large number of experimental measurements can be made easily, in a very short time, at lower cost. The main purpose of choosing the cones and walnut shells grown in our country is to increase the planting of pine and walnut trees and contribute to the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere and green areas. It is foreseen that the samples can be used for sound insulation of machines and devices that produce 85dB and above sound harmful to human health according to ILO and WHO standards.
