Prof. Dr. Faruk KARADAĞScattering problem from a cylinder is a canonical problem. Scattering fromthe canonical structures can be used for the modeling of scattering from much morecomplex geometries. In this work, an infinite length inhomogeneous cylinder isselected as the canonical structure and plane wave is assumed as the source. Thesolution of the problem was accomplished by using a numerical method called FiniteDifference Time Domain (FDTD).
