The effects of computer-based materials on misconception meiosis facts made by prospective science teacher

This movement's purpose, prospective teachers' in Science depatment determination ignorance and misconception about meiosis and develop computer-based materials then intended for remove those igrorances and misconceptions and search their contribution by applying located in General Biology course within the scope of Segmentation Unit.Computer-based materials for Segmentation Unit were developed in this movement was conducted using a semi-empirical method. Pilot shemes made by 50 prospective teachers are in second grade. Main practice made by 50 prospective teachers in experimental group and 50 prospective teachers in control group. Datas of movement; Insıght test of Meiosis (MBK), Concept an material oriented interviews, those added by classrom observation. Quantitative data obtained; with the help of statistical program one way analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA) was performed also Post Hoc (Tukey HSD) test was applicated for this datas for determine which is also statistically significant difference between the difference results from test. Qualitative data were subjected to analysis of the content and descriptive analysis. At the end of this practice this result was came through: Material has signifiant effect between succes of prospective teacher in experimental group, about elimination of their delusion and lasting of their learning. When the clutch test results are analyzed desired rate has been determined that a reduction in prospective teacher's mistaken notion that they have. Material amused that provide learning environments, contributes to become a concrete concept from abstract concept and contribute bearing in their mind for notion permanently were establishment.
