Investigation of science teachers' attitudes to technology and technology acceptance status

Today, rapid change and adaptation to change are of vital importance for the development of society. Technological innovations continue to evolve at a dizzying pace, and as technology evolves, it is radically transforming everything human. However, it shows the importance of adaptation to this technology in education. Teachers' aptitude for technological tools while interacting with their students, who are the future of society, is effective for students to acquire innovative approaches. It is socially important for them to use educational technologies and to accept new technologies, especially in an experimental field such as science. This descriptive research is in the relational screening model. The study population of the research is science teachers teaching in schools in Ağrı in the 2021-2022 academic year. The sample consists of 195 science teachers who selected by the appropriate sampling method from this population. "Technology Attitude Scale" and "Technology Acceptance Scale" were used as data collection tools in the research. In addition, in order to determine the demographic characteristics of the students; Personal information form was used. SPSS 18.0 package program will be used to analyze the data. The data obtained from the data collection tools were analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and percentage). Considering the results of the study, it was seen that there was a positive and statistically significant relationship between science teachers' attitudes towards technology and their acceptance of technology.
